D’Addario NYXL1046 Electric Guitar Strings – 010–046

D’Addario NYXL1046 is a 010–046 string set for electric guitar, designed for players who want confident bends, tuning stability and a pronounced midrange response. From daily practice to demanding rehearsals, NYXL combines a break-resistant steel core with reformulated nickel-plated windings.

Strength and tuning stability

The high-carbon steel core and plain steel alloy are engineered for strength. D’Addario’s wire-drawing process and Fusion Twist technology help improve tuning stability, supporting expressive playing and repeated bends.

Presence, output and crunch

The reformulated nickel-plated steel windings offer enhanced magnetic response, increased output and a focused midrange for presence and crunch. The wrap material is nickel-plated steel, not pure nickel.
