BlackSmith AOT 45–105 Bass Strings – 4-String, 35″ Scale

The BlackSmith AOT 45–105 bass string set is designed for 4-string electric basses with a 35″ / 889 mm scale length. The BSBA-45105-4-35 combines roundwound construction with an AOT coating for players seeking a familiar feel and protection against dirt build-up.

AOT protection for everyday playing

The AOT treatment coats the entire string, not just the winding wire. It helps reduce build-up between the windings and is designed to extend playing life compared with uncoated strings. The supplier highlights a balanced sound and reduced finger noise.

Check compatibility before ordering

Check both your bass’s scale length and the string length required by its bridge and stringing configuration. A 35″ scale specification alone does not guarantee compatibility with every string-through-body or extended-length setup.
